About this matchup
Color memory game vs Doodle
Doodle escaped the margin of a notebook somewhere around a maths lesson and never went back. Permanently unfinished, easily distracted, and somehow still a step sharper than a smudge — the second-easiest fight on the roster.
Doodle runs the same Easy variant as Smudge — four-second flashes, three sliders, no decoys — but a notch sharper. A character drawn in twenty seconds has no business reading color this well, and yet the sliders keep landing close enough to be annoying. Nothing is ever quite finished, including the guess.
In the Color Memory Game, Doodle plays the Easy variant — five 4-second flashes, three sliders, no decoys. Every one of Doodle’s guesses is generated to land inside their personal accuracy band, so a bad round on their side stays in character and a great round on yours actually wins the match.
Difficulty: Trivial
30–55% accuracy — a comfortable bot to warm up against.
How to beat Doodle
The accuracy band is 40–55%, half a step above the Trivial floor but still dropping plenty of rounds. The trap is complacency: Doodle punishes lazy saturation guesses harder than Smudge does. Lock hue first, then spend your remaining time on saturation rather than brightness, and a 33+ run should take it.
Doodle challenge — FAQ
- How do you beat Doodle?
- Play tidy on saturation — that is where the 40–55% bot actually scores. Hue first, saturation second, and do not rush the flash.
- Is Doodle harder than Smudge?
- Slightly. Same Easy variant and Trivial tier, but the accuracy band runs a touch higher, so free rounds are rarer.
